News from FireZone Records: Today, the 10-years-of-DIE PERLEN compilation called "Zehn" is being released. PROSPECTIVE have almost finished the work on their new CD "Perfect Evolution of Humanity". The album will be released by the end of February in 2010, first snippets are available on the band´s MySpace-site. On 21st December, the iconic WELLE ERDBALL radio play "Commander Laserstrahl - Seasons 1 & 2" will be released on Kompuphonik (distributed by Black Rain). NoiTekk news: By the end of November, NoiTekk will release the third full-time album of C-DRONE-DEFECT called "Dytopia". KAREN KING, the voice of KILLING OPHELIA, contributes her unique and haunting vocals to a track by the Experimental Art/Music project The Dielectric. The project was founded by J. Hookens (formerly of JERICO ONE/B3B) with the initial concept to experiment and explore new sounds and conceptual music-art ideas outside the standard band-format. Other contributors to this project have included vocalist MONA MUR, Japanese underground writer and webcaster KENJI SIRATORI, and Ann-Mari Thim from the well-known Swedish band ARCANA. King became involved in the project during 2008 by contributing both Lyrics and Vocal and collaborating with Hooken´s on a track called “Belief” that was released later that year on The Dielectric´s "Flicker of an eye" EP. This Second and Final Contribution to the project takes the form of a guest duet lead and backing vocal on another brand new ambient and experimental track called ´Lucid´ composed by Vladislav Buben, J.Hookens and is featured on The Dielectrics latest release "Rapid-Eye Volume-3" which is out now!

Charity project: Elektrofront Erzgebirge, Black Rain and Promofabrik will release as an collaborative project the exclusive double CD-compilaton "Help can´t wait" by the middle of October. The complete profit received by this compilation will be donated to Humedica. Humedica will immediatly transfer all this profit to the
projects of PENIEL SOCIAL INSTITUTE in India which takes care of poor and orphaned children in Bihar, the poorest region in whole India. With this money, we can directly support two schools, a children´s home and a hospital. This compilation unites great artists like Leaether Strip, Die Krupps, Vigilante, Jäger 90, Soman, Elite, Die Perlen, A Spell Inside, Wynardtage, Cephalgy, Project Pitchfork and many more. All bands themselves declared that charity is the only thing that counts in this project - so buying this CD is a direct donation to PENIEL SOCIAL INSTITUTE! Help can´t wait!

The Danish Electro pioneers NEOTEK signed with Black Rain right now. The founders of NEOTEK already joined in 1985 for first musical experiments but have released just one album since then - "Brain over Muscles" in 1995 including an exclusive Deluxe rerelease on Cleopatra in 2004. But despite the fact, that NEOTEKK did numerous side projects, they decidedly belong to the great pioneers that made today´s Electro possible. We are proud to announce the second great masterpiece of NEOTEKK called "Sex, Murder and Rock´n´Roll" being finally released by November 2009.

Hot distribution news: by this year´s September, all our CDs will be distributed by Non Stop Music Records in the Swiss area - so they are now much better available in the land of chocolate.
Besides our exclusive license productions on DeathWatch Asia in Japan (refer to the limited collectors editions in our shop), the rest of our back catalogue will be distributed there by Darkest Labyrinth by November.

From now on, Black Rain will distribute the Spanish label CAUSTIC RECORDS exclusively in the German-speaking area (as well as non-exclusive in some other countries).CAUSTIC RECORDS is home of bands like Pail, Splatterpunk and the German band Massiv in Mensch. They also distribute the whole backcatalogue of our bands Narsillion and Der Blaue Reiter.

FEINDFLUG kicks up heels! It is no secret that FEINDFLUG are famous for their pumping and nerve-wracking concerts! But now everyone will know for sure that this is definitely no exaggeration. During the Amphi-festival in Colonia on 18th July, after only 40 minutes of the FEINDFLUG concert, 2 square metres of ceiling plaster crushed down the stage onto Banane and his keyboard. Fortunately, the plaster first crushed on a crossbeam and was smashed into pieces. These pieces crusehd on Banane´s head fortunately leaving only some scratches and bruises on Banane´s hand. The gig was immediately interrupted - the concert hall was closed after the organiser and the owner of the hall had observed the damage. The last concert, a Laibach gig, was performed with a two hours delay at the newly installed stage at the theatre - as well as all of the following indoor-program of the next day. Amphi rocks!

The Parisian project OIL 10 is going to release their best-of compilation "Retrofuture" on Funkwelten by the end of March. All tracks had been revised and/or remixed so that a lot of songs will come up in a completely new sound. Because of this "Retrofuture" sounds like a
homogenic album - not just like an ordinary best-of CD. By the end of February the new label compilation "United Vol. 2" will be released on NoiTekk. The compilation comes up in a very exclusive
packaging.
